Connexxion's experience with Microsoft Solutions includes:

  • Registered Training and Accreditation Organisation (RTO) – The organisation is responsible for setting standards and accrediting both nurses and midwives. Due to a continuous increase in demand for its services, the organisation needed to focus on increasing efficiency and productivity without growing staffing effort. Connexxion implemented a solution utilising SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2010 database and Microsoft .NET interfaces. The web interface also included a portal to allow collaboration with external team members whilst complying with the organisation’s security requirements. The range of services Connexion provided included data migration, training subject matter experts, creating documentation and resolving data quality issues associated with legacy data.

  • Defence - Providing the war fighter with timely, appropriate tools and equipment to win is a key objective of the Australian Defence Force. By working closely with Defence teams to understand the required levels of tracking, reporting and forecasting, a standards based solution was developed that provided a consolidated information base, an internal / external customer portal, audit trail and opportunity to trap lessons learned for continuous improvement. By providing clear reporting and executive dashboards the ability for all parties to have one clear, consistent awareness further assisted the overall goal of supporting the war fighter.

  • Defence – The client organisation required the development of a solution using SharePoint that would support the Portfolio, Program and Project Office (P3O) environment. Connexxion delivered a complete solution from the high level organisational analysis, the detailed analysis including the requirements documentation, solution design, solution development, testing and deployment, through to documentation, training and subsequent handover to the client. The solution provided the client with a means to collaborate across all projects delivered across the organisation.

  • Defence – Connexxion was required to provide an Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Solution in response to the vision of the Executive. This was to create a work environment to support business “Any Time Any Where” that complied with the departments governance requirements. Connexxion was engaged to provide an EPM solution based on Microsoft’s EPM product suite (Microsoft Portfolio Manager, SharePoint and Project Server). The project delivered a solution that allows Defence project managers to collaboratively scope, plan and manage the implementation & delivery of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tasks and projects on bases and sites within Defence. Delivery of the solution required design, configuration, deployment, user-training and support.

  • Grain Management - The client organisation required a solution to track and trace the movement of wheat from the paddock to the plate in a secure environment. The solution offers a global solution for the storage, measurement, monitoring, tracking and exchange of grain type products. The solution will be extended to provide on line grain brokering in the future.
